Nurse Training Program: Pharmacology and Developmental Disabilities - Pharmacology Update
This session will review the pharmacokinetic parameters of absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination as they apply to the DD population. Drug interactions and agents that are classified as inducers or inhibitors will be highlighted. Information about psychoactive medications and drug interactions will also be included. Case studies will be used to link the information to nurse practice.
