Course #3 | Nurse Training Program: Pharmacology and Developmental Disabilities - Categories of Medications This session will focus on categories of pharmacology that significantly impact the DD population. Topics will include medication interactions, side effects and common reactions; seizure/epilepsy management, bone health, and diabetic management. Emphasis will be on nurse strategies for assessment, including dual diagnosis (DD and mental health). Case studies will be used to link the information to nurse practice.
